This customer should realise that the vehicle had to have 16 valves, new head gasket set, and new cam belt kit etc which is why it cost nearly £1000. It is not normal practice to change the cam belt sensor when you change a cam belt. The original fault was mechanical and the vehicle was working prefectly when it left the workshop. The cam belt sensor was an electrical fault which occurred after the original fault was repaired. We are proud of the fact that we do not change parts unnecessarily and can produce references from many of our customers some of whom travel from Wales, Windsor and Hastings because we can be trusted.

Put a new head on my Galaxy after cam belt failed and charged nearly £1000 never ran right and had intermittent strarting problem, I took it to South Easter in Maidstone to wipe memory on engine management they told me that the cam belt sensor was faulty and needed changing and should have been replaced with cam belt. Took it back to Sceats Autos and the cheeky bastard charged me another £130 to change it. NOT GOOD AVOID
