I took my motor to Kens Autos, located in Whitehorse Road, Croydon, as i wasn't happy with my local mechanic.

Initially, I went to my Volvo dealership, who quoted a silly price of approx £1200, as they said the gearbox was faulty. I knew it was to do with the linkage, due to the fact the gears were not aligned properly, but Volvo would not budge on their quote. I took the motor to Ken's Autos, i had to be patient as it took a few days, but the wait was worth it. Mark, the mechanic, aligned the brakes and only charged £80 ex vat.

It's a very, very busy garage, but definitely worth taking your car to them.

Just collected our car today after excellent service from Kens Autos. My fiance had brake and catalytic converter failure yesterday whilst driving near to Kens Autos Warlingham. She managed to steer the car into a neighbouring car park and then went across to Kens Auto to ask for assistance. The mechanics came straight out and had a look at the car for her, they then organise for the car to be collected and taken into their garage so as to avoid being clamped and a £90 fine. Within 24 hours they had parts delivered and fitted and the biggest surprise was the reasonable price and the fact that they fully valeted the car without being asked and free of charge.
We have never used them before, but will become loyal customers from now on. Thank You Kens Autos not only for your great service but also for taking care of my fiance at the time!!!!! Thank You all STAFF!!!

HI i took my bmw to kens autos hamsey green last week for a service and i was very very happy with the service, i got and lift home and i was offered to be picked up if need be to collect the car, it was a quarter of the price of a main dealer service and the car was washed in and out for free overall a 10 out of 10 service thank you kens autos and i will be recommending you to friends

I had Ken's mot test my car which failed on emissions, this was rectified. They also renewed the front brakes and did a 10,000 mile service. They ran me home while the car was garaged and ran me back to collect and pay the bill for it. When my car was returned to me it looked like new! It even ran better. It had been cleaned and valeted inside and out for free! This was the third experience I have had at ken's and I have been totally satisfied with both the staff-customer interaction and the quality of work done. I wont bother with main dealers again. one of my leads was loose and the young bloke in the warlingham branch kens autos tried to tell me i needed a new head gasket at a cost of nearly £1000. i took it elsewhere, they tightened the lead and charged me nothing! car running great since. That was 7 months ago! The Hamsey green branch have since tried to charge my uncle for work he hadn't agreed too, while going through an mot. £600. worth! another mechanic said all they had done to it was cleaned something up they said had been replaced!!! certainly not £600. worth. that was the very outgoing and vocal young bloke aswell!
